Okay I'm kinda in the cross road right now...

As you know right now I'm working on my novel, Ther Melian. Which I planned to be three books long.

I've finished drafting the whole story, and finished writing the first book, and I'm working on the illustration by now.

My plan is to get the first book done completely before the end of this years, made a dummy print and then send it to several publisher to see if any of them interested. If they do, and decided to published it, then I'll write the next book.

But then I realize that it took me one year and a half just to get one book done, wouldn't that just be murderous to the reader to wait one year and a half for the next book to arrive? And not to mention murderous to the story and the book it self.

I mean face it I am NOT J.K Rowling, no one would stand one year let alone one year and a half just to wait for a sequel book from an unknown writer like my self.

So I came up with this other ideas.

I'll write the three books completely, and finish all illustration needed for book one and half illustration needed for book two before handing it to the publishers.

That way if the book does get published, the readers won't wait too long for the sequel to appear, probably around 3-6 month.



What do you guys think? I really need some ideas here
